Still waiting for the truth.....
CRank: 5Score: 28930

That's a shame.

Asda in the UK is owned by WallMart just for info.

I had seen 2 stories before about Asda reducing the price of Wii U consoles. I can only assume that they are still not selling well enough to warrant shelf space. Games still online though by the looks of it.

I want to buy one just for my collection but want to wait until they are the cheapest possible. Asda was on my radar due to the price drops...

I don't think we will be any worse off for the absence of this 'gentleman'.

Loved Fez, not liking what I read about this chap.

Yes that is great news. I hope these sorts of features might encourage MS to not keep so much behind their pay wall.

Competition is good for us.

An Xbox related article and you are second poster. What is your insecurity regarding Xbox that you feel you need to list pro Sony points at every opportunity? Especially odd given that most of us know the PS4 will likely be the more powerful in terms of hardware.

Why can't you accept that each console will be different in some areas, similar in others and that they will likely both sell well on their own merits?

You seem hell bent on discrediting MS and t...

Very interesting tech. Cloud has had a bad rap as just a marketing term but true distributed computing for games tech really does look like it has some future application.

The lighting looks decent even up to around the 200ms delay.

Some fairly beefy hardware at the cloud end needed at the moment though.

Its worth considering (in terms of use to xbox One),that this is only the beginning and the potential will only improve. Beefy hardware at...

Er I said my friends were happy with the Family share idea - not me. Please read it again.

I didn't really know too much about how it worked. I was more concerned with the daily check ins and the threat to physical media.

Apparently Eurogamer waited 24hrs to publish this having spoken to Sony although Ive seen no 'official' comment from Sony.

It might not be BS but still not the end of the world. I still want a PS4.

Oh this is going to be priceless if true. I'm waiting for MariaHelFutura to spin this into a positive vs xbox.

OT - I'm not surprised by this as I suspect that Sony are adding lots of features to their OS. This news isn't that bad really. Memory can always be freed up later on in the cycle if required. The noise around the Spanish Eurogamer tweet made it sound a lot worse. At least its still 8GB GDDR5. I thought they might have supply issues.

Oh Maria

Your pro Sony self is going to love the RUMOR just up on Eurogamer regarding the amount of PS4 memory available to devs.

Karma

@Ron and Ezz2013 below - Yes chaps a rumor and I have edited my comment to reflect as much. Fair point. But it would be one in the eye for all those idiots who felt the need to rubbish the Xbox Ones memory allocations.

I think the system was always viable even with the DRM but it didn't appeal to everyone. I wasn't a fan of the DRM but some of my forward thinking gaming colleagues were happy with the family share idea and the games in the cloud because they didn't need to buy used and liked the idea of digital on demand.

I myself am a bit more old fashioned and prefer a disc in the hand but was still interested in xbox and what ideas MS had even though they were badly communicat...

Maria why do you have to spout so much negativity in almost every xbox related article? How have you still got 3 bubbles?

Your comment history is an appalling example of irrational bias of the worst kind and in some cases factually deficient. N4G gets a bad rap because of your type of 'discussion'.

Yes you like Sony, Yes you like PS, Yes you hate MS - we get it.

Did you get fired by MS or something? What OS are you using on your PC? ...

First thing he says is lets have an in-depth technical look at the specifications then mentions the cost (which isn't a tech spec), without suggesting why the costs are so different (Kinect).

This is video not a detailed look at the technical specifications. All the bloke has done is list off the very top level highlights as already seen by most people who would be interested. But then he misses:

Any GPU details or discussion about the APU.

I was quite happy with my Assassins Creed 2. Not as good as the PS+ games but they are different propositions.

Games with Gold is just a few freebies before the new system launches, not sure why they are bothering as its not a show stopper for anyone who has Gold already and not enough of an enticement to join in my opinion. Nice to have as a bonus for free.

PS+ is a bit like a mini Netflix for games except you don't have unlimited choice. You pay a fee f...

Er I did, and whilst the Xbox guy didn't describe them as 'supercharged' the author of the article for OXM did, so my observation is still valid.
